Andrew Chadwick is a Professor of Political Science in the Department of Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he founded the New Political Communication Unit in 2007. He has authored numerous publications in the field of digital media and political communication, including the award-winning book Internet Politics: States, Citizens, and New Communication Technologies. He is a co-editor (with Philip N. Howard) of The Handbook of Internet Politics and the founding editor of the Oxford University Press book series, Oxford Studies in Digital Politics.
